Why We Built This Site
Arkansas provides several public access points, but each answers a different question. The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office serves warrants and publishes a dynamic warrant interface. Circuit Clerk Debbie Gray handles public circuit-case questions, while State District Court handles traffic, misdemeanor, ordinance, preliminary-felony, and many failure-to-appear matters through its Clinton and Damascus departments. Search ARCourts may provide additional public case information, subject to Administrative Order 19. We bring these routes together because an empty result in one system does not certify that no warrant exists.
What You Will Find Here
- Warrant checks: how to use the warrant check routes offered by VBCSO and Arkansas courts
- Current status: what the Sheriff’s active warrant search displays and what it does not prove
- Missed appearances: how to trace a bench warrant to the State District Court or Circuit Court that issued it
- Criminal process: how an arrest warrant is issued and served in Van Buren County
- Next steps: why recall, quash, bond, appearance, and surrender instructions must come from the issuing court, an attorney, or the Sheriff’s Office
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference website, unaffiliated with the Arkansas Judiciary, Van Buren County, or any law-enforcement agency. Accordingly, we cannot:
- Confirm that a person does or does not have an active warrant
- Recall, quash, remove, or otherwise clear judicial process
- Take bond, fines, fees, or any other court payment
- Schedule an appearance, surrender, or warrant walk-through
- Interpret a particular case or provide legal advice
- Promise that a listing, fee, office detail, or procedure remains current
Official status must come from the issuing court or the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office. This site can identify a contact route, but it cannot certify that a warrant is active, served, recalled, or cleared.
Search Partners
Third-party providers operate the search boxes found on some pages and control their own results, fees, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this free resource. Those commercial results are not official Van Buren County warrant confirmations, and we do not determine their content or price.
